I am going to hold the lessons for PCP and VDC less often, but have a complete lesson planned out for each one. Please submit your questions, lesson ideas, and request for consultation through the link on the dashboard. I will get in contact with you and discuss your project in advance. I may even pre-record our session and check back with you multiple times before the lesson airs.

Are you getting these emails?
I usually add [HTRH] to the beginning of the emails. I suspect that is causing my emails to go into your spam folder depending on the email app you use. Please add cindi@cindigay.com to your address book. That will help these emails to get delivered to the right place, your inbox.
I’ve sent out emails in August and a combo email for Sept/Oct. I plan to send them around the 1st of each month unless I have urgent news. Did you get those prior emails? If not, you can see them here.
Membership: The Rug Hooking Journey
The Getting Started Feature that I announced last month, has not gotten much attention from me. I still need to flesh this out and fix some links. I’ve been busy with the new feature below.
New Video Feature
It happens to me all the time so I know you have probably had this problem also…
I know there is a video where I covered a certain topic, but I cannot find it unless I make a careful log of all the topics in each of the videos – which I started but never kept up.
I finally figured out some tech and found a solution.
Now, once I have the key timestamps (the time something happens in a video) on the page, they turn into links. Time stamps look like: 10:13 which means 10 minutes 13 seconds into the video. Click the link and IMMEDIATELY go to that spot in the video where I talk about that topic. AND, even better, since all the topics are now in print, they are searchable from the search box at the bottom of every page. The problem now is that the search results page needs major work to make it useable. I have to figure out the programming on that one.

What you need to do
I have to separate out the videos so only one video is on one page in order for the linking system to work. Unfortunately I cannot carry over your “Marked as Done” check boxes. You can transfer your “Marked as Done” checks now or wait to re-review each enhanced lesson. Many will have photos or additional content added. I will be leaving the monthly pages in place for several months after I have all the lessons enhanced to give you plenty of time to make the move.
I am currently working on Sept and Oct. When I am missing something you will see something like ADD PHOTO HERE in all caps. That is my way of reminding myself where something goes.

All the 2016, 2017 and 2018 replays are on their own pages already. Some already have time stamps. I will be adding timestamps to all the replays slowly over the next few months.
Premium Courses: PCP & VDC
I am discontinuing the monthly Live! Lessons and adding a quarterly Check-in Lesson. The name helps to separate these lessons from the weekly Live! Lessons and these lessons will have a full lesson. Submit your questions in ADVANCE. I will answer questions about the topic presented.

Personal Update
According to bloodwork and xrays I am free of pneumonia, but I am still so very tired. I have a bunch of emails to catch up on. Anything complicated is difficult to concentrate on, but it is getting better every day. I got another antibiotic late last week and that seems to be making a big difference.
In the meantime, I’ve been able to putter on the computer and make these improvements. Now let me know what you think. What else would make the experience richer?
