My icon is grayed out and I paid for a course
Your user id should be granted permission to see the course as soon as your payment is processed. This is automatic but it is possible to fail. I can fix it manually. Just get in touch. 419-287-3884 between 9am and 7pm eastern.
I cannot get into a course that IS IN COLOR
Try a different browser. If you are using Safari a few people run into this problem, but switching to Chrome, fixed the issue.
I want to join Practical Color Planning or the Virtual Dye Class
These courses are closed to public enrollment for most of the year. They open at random times several times a year. However, members of The Rug Hooking Journey have the ability to join either class at any time. These classes are one-time pay. They do not renew or expire.
I am clicking on a menu item, but nothing happens.
If you see a menu like the one in blue above, these are headers without lessons. The lessons will be added as they are created. When you click on them, nothing happens.
Why are some lessons incomplete?
Sometimes a little bit of information is better than no information at all. You may have purchased the course during its development stage (which can often take a few years) at a deep discount. You will have access to all the new lessons as they are completed.
Get in touch if you need a particular lesson. I often choose what to do next randomly. If I know you are interested in a particular lesson, I can move it up on the schedule.
I realized that the experience for my in-progress posts is not the best for you. I’ve added a notice that says
Some posts I had a little bit written, but wanted to write more. I published what I had so far, but that post will have the warning above. Check out the What’s New section in the Dashboard It shows the last 45 days of changes. I thought that if you logged in only once a month, you would see everything.

I have a video chat scheduled. Where do I go?
If I have scheduled a video chat with you, just click this link at the appropriate time. You must have a small app called Zoom installed. You will be prompted to install it by the system if you need it.
I got billed twice! How do I get a refund?
That is an error but it is fixable. Just get in touch and I will refund it ASAP. I may even find the error before you do. I have a payment processing system that is design to pick up errors like that. Use the contact information in the sidebar to get in touch.
I am getting close to renewal and I want to use a different credit card.
