Hi Cindi, in the colour distribution video you highlight various flowers and fill them with colour. During this process you turn off the fill for the line you are drawing around each flower so only the colour shows up. I see that you click on a box with a diagonal line it in to do this. When I try it I still have the line. I am obviously missing a step. Please help.
Hi Cindi,
Just wanted to thank you for the session on Sunday. You did a great job explaining how the technology works to everyone on the call. I have been enjoying playing around with it since then. Thank you!
When drawing the rug for your son stovetop, you showed how to set Graphics so that as you drew the sides of the building the lines were automatically straighten. Will you please cover that again?
You also mentioned cut/paste (I believe it was in the “using layers” video) in regards to moving previous work to different layers. Please show how this is done.
Thank you,
Denise Hofer
I used the line tool instead of the pencil. Choose the top and the bottom.
Select what you want to move. Choose cut from the menu item at the top where you can copy and paste.
Move to the new layer.
From that same layer, choose Paste in Place.
Not your selection is on the new layer.

There are two buttons for color, fill and line (or stroke). Be sure you have the right one chosen before you open the color panel. Did that help?
