This course used an iPad, iPad Pencil and the app called Graphic. That app is no longer being supported (updated) by the owner. As a result at some time in the future it will no longer be working.
I’ve been using Affinity Photo for years. Affinity Designer is the one we need to design patterns. I am leaving the old Graphic lessons in the course, but will focus all new training on Affinity Designer.
If you are buying an iPad, be sure to buy one that can use the Generation 2 pencil. The Generation 1 is doable, but it is more buggy. It tends to drop the connection and it is a hassle to charge.
